Virtual Mental Health Treatment for Utah Farmers
Addressing the Silent Crisis in Utah’s Farming Communities

You are the backbone of the state—but behind the hard work and long hours, many of you are silently battling anxiety, depression, and trauma. According to reporting from ProPublica, Utah farmers face higher-than-average suicide rates, worsened by social isolation, financial stress, and the cultural stigma surrounding mental health. At Anxiety, Trauma & Depression Treatment Centers, we recognize that your mental health needs are urgent—and too often overlooked.
Our solution: expert, confidential, Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), available across all of Utah. You don’t have to leave your land or your family to get help. We bring evidence-based, compassionate mental health care straight to your screen.

Why Mental Health Support for Utah Farmers Is Critical
- Suicide rates in Utah’s rural counties are among the highest in the nation, especially in farming populations.
- The ProPublica investigation reveals a deep-rooted stigma: many farmers fear being seen as weak if they seek help.
- Long hours, market pressures, droughts, and the isolation of rural life all contribute to mounting stress and emotional overload.
- Generational expectations can make it even harder for farmers to admit when they’re struggling—let alone ask for help.
We understand these unique burdens—and we’ve built a virtual program specifically designed to meet you the farmers where you are, both literally and emotionally.

What Is Virtual IOP?
Flexible, Confidential, Life-Changing Care

Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are tailored for adults who need more than occasional therapy sessions—but don’t require hospitalization. This is a structured, 9-hour-per-week program delivered in convenient 3-hour virtual blocks, allowing you to:
- Stay on your farm
- Keep your responsibilities
- Get the help you need—privately and effectively
If you feel the 9 hours per week may be too much, we also offer one on one virtual therapy to help you get back to the life you deserve.
Our Proven, Evidence-Based Therapies Include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Shift the thought patterns that trap you in cycles of anxiety and hopelessness
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Learn emotion regulation and distress tolerance
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Gently process and release past trauma
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Learn to face pain with courage and move toward a values-driven life
- Psychodynamic Therapy – Understand the root causes of emotional suffering
- Motivational Interviewing – Find your inner strength and readiness to change
- Group Therapy – Connect with others who understand rural and agricultural stress
- Individual Therapy – Receive one-on-one support from experienced therapists
- Family Therapy – Bring loved ones into the healing process, if desired
