Eating Disorder Treatment in Bountiful, Utah
Eating Disorder, Intensive Outpatient Care for Lasting Recovery
Are you or a loved one struggling with disordered eating, negative body image, or obsessive thoughts around food? At the Anxiety, Trauma, and Depression Treatment Center in Bountiful, we specialize in comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Programs specifically designed to treat your eating disorder for sufferers over 15. Our multidisciplinary team is here to help you with every step of this journey.
IOP Treatment Works for Your Eating Disorder
Anxiety Trauma and Depression Treatment Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for eating disorders is the recommended step-down from residential or partial hospitalization programs (PHP) or a step-up from traditional once-a-week therapy when additional structure and support are needed. For those stepping down, our IOP provides a critical bridge between 24/7 care and independent living, allowing patients to maintain progress while gradually reintegrating into daily life. For those stepping up, our IOP offers more frequent therapeutic contact and accountability than weekly sessions, helping to interrupt escalating disordered eating behaviors before they require higher levels of care.
Studies show that IOP treatment can lead to significant improvements in eating disorder symptoms, psychological well-being, and long-term recovery outcomes (Anderson et al., 2017, Eating Disorders Journal). With a flexible schedule, multidisciplinary team, and trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions, our Bountiful Eating Disorder IOP is designed to support recovery at every stage, empowering clients to build sustainable, life-affirming change.
